SHINNECOCK INDIAN POWWOW
Summer on Long Island would not be complete without the region’s largest Native American powwow, where traditional tribal dancing, music, crafts, and food aplenty will be available for the public to enjoy. The Shinnecock Indian Powwow — one of the largest Native American gatherings on the East Coast — features more than 100 vendors in addition to the drumming and dancing in which participants compete for more than $50,000 in cash prizes.
